7 Online Business Ideas During This Quarantine That You Can Try

Recently I've been seeing a lot of my friends on all over my social media accounts promoting their small businesses this quarantine. After all, most of us started from making dalgona coffee to ube cheese pandesal to making all sorts of stuffs to gain at least a little bit of profit while we're at home or do as much as we can because we want to have a purpose or at least we're not used to a life of not doing anything, literally.

Back then, around May 2020 wherein most of us are testing waters on what will happen or how should we adapt a work from home setting that is being established, zoom call meetings that are being held and pushing through with online classes. Some business minded people started to cook or even bake and eventually tried to sell their food online when slowly the government eased the quarantine protocols.

Here are My Top 7 Online Business Ideas YOU can try during this Quarantine

1. Cooking and Baking
(the essentials)
Baking cookies or even cooking merienda for your neighbors could be such a good hit. We have this group in our neighborhood wherein people posts the food that their selling may it be classified as desserts, breakfast, lunch, merienda or for dinner name it or just post what you're looking for and the group has it.

2. Reselling
If you have enough money for investment you could actually start small in maybe reselling face masks or face shields (just don't over price it) or maybe food, cosmetics and the like.
3. Monetize (your blog or YouTube channel)

But if you have a Blog or YouTube channel you can use it to make some money through adsense though in YouTube there is a certain number of watch time and subscribers to be able to get monetize so really you just have to work at every thing that you will gain profit of, as they say there's no such thing as a free lunch.

4. Hobby/ Passion (Arts and Crafts)

If you're an artsy person or whose really good at adobe creative cloud software you could actually put it into a good use might as well profit from it to pay for your monthly subscription (or even if you dont, shhh it's our secret) you could use that money for emergency purposes. If you are into painting you could buy some canvass and use your stagnating acrylic paints that's been sitting at the corner of your desk waiting to be used. Since art is very diverse you could pretty much do everything you like and express yourself and who knows people might love it, you wouldn't know if you try.
5. Planting

I see quite a number of people both my Instagram and Facebook that they've suddenly been into planting or gardening and decorating their room or their house with plants, so if you think you have a green thumb you might as well check out this way of earning. Buy really good pots that will sustain the life of your plant and it's also a plus to some when buying a plant. You just really have to take care of before it gets sold so that's it's fresh and not dying on the inside.

6. Sell Your Skills (Acting, Dancing, Playing instrument)

May it be acting workshops, ballet dancing, how to play the guitar or even how to learn the Korean language anything will do if you have the skills you put it out there because as they say skills pay the bills. Try posting it one on your Facebook wall and see if family and friends are willing to participate

7. Sell Your Old Stuffs

There's no harm in putting your things out there especially when they are old already (but can still be put into good use) or something that you bought and didn't really used. I post mine on carousel and even if I don't get or my stuffs don't get sold out right a way like whipslash it's okay because as long as you put it out there, people who are interested will message you.

May it be books, clothes, music instruments, bags, stuff toys (anything) carousel is kind of like sulit.com or olx.com though I am not sure if carousel bought either of the the online sites I've mentioned but anyhow it has helped a lot of people give their old things to a new home.

Pro tip: I usually not put my real name because sometimes there are bogus buyers who will blame the seller for things that are clearly the bogus buyer's fault and possibly be left by with a not so honest review which might drag your shop down or even screenshot your conversation and will make you the bad one.
